What This Service Does

BankStatementConverters.ai converts PDF bank statements into CSV, Excel, and JSON formats using AI. You upload a document, our AI extracts the transactions, and you download clean, structured data.

We're a file conversion tool - not a bank, not a financial advisor, not an accounting service. The converted data is only as good as the source document. Always verify important financial data before relying on it.

Who Can Use This Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use BankStatementConverters.ai. By using our service, you confirm that you're of legal age to enter into this agreement in your jurisdiction. If you're using this on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Accounts

You can use basic conversions without an account. For full features (dashboard, conversion history, API access, paid plans), you'll need to create one.

If you create an account:

  • Keep your login credentials secure - you're responsible for activity under your account
  • Provide accurate information when signing up
  • Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
  • Don't share your account or API keys with others

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

Free and Paid Plans

We offer both free and paid tiers:

Free tier

Limited daily page credits. No account required for basic use. Free credits reset daily. We may adjust free tier limits at any time.

Paid plans

Choose monthly or yearly billing - whatever works for you. Your plan continues until you cancel, and you can cancel anytime from your dashboard. After cancelling, you keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for. No surprise charges, no cancellation fees.

If we ever change pricing, we'll let you know in advance - your existing rate stays until the end of your current billing cycle. Page credits refresh each cycle.

Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed securely by a PCI-compliant payment provider. We don't store your payment details.

Not happy with your plan? We offer refunds within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked - just email us. If a payment doesn't go through for some reason, we'll let you know and give you time to sort it out before anything changes on your account.

API Usage

Paid plan users get access to our API for programmatic conversions. If you use the API:

  • Keep your API keys secure - treat them like passwords
  • Each plan has its own rate limits - check your dashboard for details
  • The API is for your own use or your organization's use
  • API availability follows the same uptime expectations as the main service

Fair Use

To keep the service running well for everyone, we ask that you:

  • Only upload files you own or have permission to process
  • Use the service for legitimate purposes
  • Use the API for programmatic access rather than automated scraping of the website
  • Respect the rate limits included with your plan

Your Responsibilities

  • Verify the accuracy of converted data before using it for financial decisions, tax filings, or accounting
  • Back up your original files - we're a conversion tool, not a storage service
  • Use the service in compliance with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction
  • Keep your account credentials and API keys secure

What We Provide (and What We Don't Guarantee)

We do our best to deliver accurate conversions and reliable uptime, but the service is provided "as is." In plain terms:

  • AI extraction is highly accurate but not infallible - unusual PDF formats may produce imperfect results
  • We aim for high availability but can't guarantee 100% uptime
  • Features may change, be added, or be removed over time
  • We don't guarantee that the service will meet every specific requirement you have

Intellectual Property

  • Your files and data remain entirely yours - we claim no ownership over your documents or converted output
  • Our website, branding, code, and AI models are our property
  • You can't copy, redistribute, or resell our service or its components
  • If you provide feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve the service without obligation to you

Important Notes

We work hard to make conversions accurate, but AI isn't perfect. Always double-check converted data before using it for anything important like tax filings or accounting. We're a conversion tool - the final responsibility for verifying your data stays with you.

Service Availability

We aim for high uptime but occasionally need maintenance windows to improve things. We'll give notice when possible. If we ever need to make major changes, paid users will always be taken care of.

Data and Privacy

Your privacy matters. See our Privacy Policy for the full details on how we handle your data. The short version: we process your files to convert them, delete the originals after processing, and never sell your data.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as our service evolves. For significant changes, we'll notify registered users by email at least 30 days before the new terms take effect. For minor updates, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Disputes

If something's not right, email us first - we'd rather sort things out directly than through lawyers. Most issues can be resolved with a quick conversation.
